Week 3 Match-ups!

Saturdays I like to focus on this weekend’s match-ups and throw in a few Sleepers.

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – Would you believe that Cincinnati has allowed an average of 138 yards on the ground this year? Worst in the NFL.

vs  – After two games, Washington has allowed the most Fantasy points to RBs.

vs  – Freeman and Coleman will both have good days against that Saints defense.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – If Aaron Rodgers doesn’t get out of his funk this week and playing at home it’s time to worry in Green Bay.

vs  – This game will be a shootout on both sides. I anticipate a high score that could equate to some impressive fantasy points.

vs  – Five injured players in the Colts secondary, I like Rivers in this game.

QB – Joe Flacco and Marcus Mariota

RB – Duane Washington and Christine Michael

WR – Quincy Enunwa and Tajae Sharpe

TE – Jacob Tamme and Jack Doyle

News and Notes

Injuries are killing our early round draft picks this year. Pay attention to the backups, sometimes it’s the third string guy that proves to be the better performer while everyone focuses on the second string guy.

Don’t give up on Todd Gurley or Aaron Rodgers just yet. It’s only been two games, and people are trying to trade these guys out for someone shinier. It’s too early, give it at least two more games have to think long term and playoff’s.

The Giant’s Defense is looking really really good and available in most of waiver wires.

On the other side of the coin the Raider’s Defense is looking really bad, allowing over 500 yards per game so far.

Las Vegas over/under has Atlanta/New Orleans and San Diego/Indianapolis games as the highest scoring this weekend. Lots of potential points there.

Good Luck!
