Most of us can relate to meeting the family of our significant other for the first time and the fear of them not liking you or vice versa. Well I guess that’s why there has been a lot of successful comedies with that in mind from “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” to Ben Stiller’s “Meet the Parents” franchise. “Crazy Rich Asians” is the latest movie to take that premise and absolutely run with it and almost perfect it.

*The MEAT* The story is basically “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” meets “Coming to America” set in Singapore. It will keep you engaged and take you on a fun journey while also making you laugh and cry. Let me just say, if you never been to Singapore, this movie will definitely make you put that destination on your bucket list, simply beautiful.

*The POTATOES* The acting was *Very Good* It had a few recognizable actors, but for the most part it was a lot of new enjoyable faces. Michelle Yeoh was great. Nice to see her again.

*The Verdict* “Crazy Rich Asians” pulled off all the right things that make a movie great. And I simply loved this movie. It is a *Perfect Date Movie* and I can see this movie becoming an instant classic and enjoyed over and over for years to come. It’s that good!
