Smurfs Take> I never thought this day would come. I remember the day when the first issue hit the shelves under the ground breaking publisher’s banner. The impact this book made can never be ignored and the milestone it reaches today. Sure Todd will always be attached to Spider-Man 300 and the grail status that book has reached but what will history decide for this title. I am curious to see where the character and story have gone since last I visited back at issue 100.

But al Ghul’s true goal is hidden from everyone’s eyes. He will destroy the city and kill Batman-this time for good. Watching in horror is… Bruce Wayne? (S) Neal Adams (A/CA) Neal Adams

Smurfs Take> This is fantastic and I can’t wait to read it! This looks and has the feel of the older Detective Comics when Neal took over the title.

Smurfs Take> This has been an absolute joy! The story, the art, the massive scope of it all and DCs skill at telling a story, building off its own history and characters is spectacular. No spoilers but this one you don’t want to be missing out on when it all comes to a close.

Smurfs Take> Well year of the villain hasn’t disappointed yet and I think it’s about to get a whole lot grittier. It reminds me of an old episode of Super Friends but waaaay better.

dark knight statueDark Knights Metal Batman the Devastator Statue> Rocking into our world from the pages of DARK NIGHTS: METAL comes a nightmarish fusion of the only two beings capable of taking on the Man of Steel-Doomsday and Batman. Meticulously crafted in polyresin, this statue captures the imposing essence of the Devastator-an all-powerful creature in which the unstoppable might of Doomsday fuses with the unmatched brains of Batman. With a skin of cragged bone and red eyes of unspeakable evil, this statue is a great addition to the collections of fans of Doomsday, Batman and METAL.
•  Limited to 5,000 pieces and individually numbered
•  Statue measures approximately 9.1″ tall
•  Allocations may occur

Smurfs Take> I know I haven’t posted up a statue for some time now but there was no way I could resist with this one. It’s so massive and awesome and I really enjoyed the story this is pulled from. Every time I look at it I can’t help but smile, it’s terrific.
