The first “It” movie had some scary moments, but overall, I thought it was an average horror movie at best, so, I am reluctant to see the next chapter that is out now, but it is getting good reviews and that Clown is looking very menacing. So maybe this Reboot/Sequel might be worth seeing after all.
*The MEAT* The story is quite the epic adventure. I mean they must reunite all the main characters, give them all their personal challenges and fears to conquer and then finally try to defeat the bad guy. Needless to say, it takes a long time to do this, I mean loooong time. And I am still confused as to what that clown’s powers actually are and its purpose. But hey, that clown is creepy and scary enough to *Not Care about the Details*.
*The POTATOES* Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy are great as always, and Bill Hader is fantastic as the comic relief character. I have to say, the acting was *Pretty Darn Good*.
*The Verdict* “It: Chapter 2” is much better than the first chapter, but I do have to say, it was way too long of a movie. While lasting over three hours, “It: Chapter 2” *Seemed like Forever* because it is not a fast 3 hours like “Endgame” no, it feels much longer than that. But it does hold your interest enough to want to see how it ends. So, if you like relaxing in a theater that long, then this movie won’t let you down, but maybe its best taking it in at home sometime when you can take breaks or just space it out over a couple of nights.
