#CLRW Listener here and one of the things I love the most about music is that it’s always evolving. In my mind I see music as a living breathing organism that is on this journey with you growing every step of the way. You never know what to expect from it but always seems to know the right thing to say. Case in point this band, wasn’t sure what to expect of them but the deeper I went the Barenaked Ladies just spoke to me.
The band behind the Big Bang Theory’s opening song had a lot more to offer than a quick little ditty about how the universe began. It’s more than the old apartment, or what you would do with a million dollars, this band is all about where life can take you including the bumps and the people that come and go. I can’t help but smile when I listen to them and is an easy recharge for the soul if you ask me. Seeing them live was a very simple decision; this had to be one of the best unexpected fan moments for me as Men At Work make an appearance on stage to help with a cover of their classic songs. So today’s Classic Rock Summer Concert Series also get’s a Legends Covering Legends taste to it with Who Can It Be Now on the Sax, absolutely fantastic.
