Almost 30 years after the landmark story Future Imperfect, legendary INCREDIBLE HULK scribe Peter David returns to the far-future version of the Hulk known as Maestro – the master of what remains of the world. With astounding art from HULK veteran Dale Keown and up-and-comer Germán Peralta, Maestro will answer questions that have haunted Hulk fans for years – and inspire some new ones. How did the world fall and the Maestro rise? What happened to the world’s heroes in between? And where is the Hulk we know and love? Find out here! (S) Peter David (A) German Peralta (A/CA) Dale Keown

Smurfs Take> Hulk Future Imperfect. One of my “Must Have Trades” with the spectacular team of Peter and Dale. They are my favorite run on the regular Hulk series as it is, just really love Dales version of the Hulk and now I get the rest of the story for the Maestro. So many questions surrounding such a devastated future and a character with so much potential. Decades of expectations riding on this and I have no doubt this team will not only deliver but hit the cheap seats.

Batman-97Batman #97> The Joker’s army is growing hour by hour, with weapons beyond anything the Clown Prince of Crime has ever used before. Batman must hold his mind together so he can strike the final blow and take back his city-but how can he heal the rifts he’s created in his life to get the help he needs? And while all this is happening, the villains of Gotham City are waiting out the carnage Joker has unleashed-and Catwoman assembles an army of her own! (S) James Tynion IV (A) Jorge Jimenez

Smurfs Take> Well smack me with a canister of laughing gas, everything I expected and more for a Joker war. This will be a story I can see everyone talking about years from now as the story starts to expand and so do the Jokers plans.

The Black Winter has the power to reveal the means of any person’s demise – and if the vision is true, Asgard is going to need a new Odinson to take the throne! But Thor is no mere herald or king – and even the death of all existence should fear his coming wrath.  (S) Donny Cates (A) Nic Klein (CA) Olivier Coipel

Smurfs Take> After the last issue everyone should have this added to their pull list. I was a little hesitant at first with the new creative team and just where the title was going to go but I’m IN with both feet.

harley-75Harley Quinn #75> At last, it’s the star-studded roast of Harley Quinn! Nothing is off-limits, no topic is out of bounds, and no one-and we mean no one!-will escape unscathed. Harley may be the funniest person in the DC Universe, but how well can she take a joke? Plus, in a backup story illustrated by superstar artist Riley Rossmo tying into “The Joker War,” Harley Quinn faces off against Punchline! (S) Sam Humphries (A) Sami Basri

Smurfs Take> I know this is the one everyone has been talking about and even I have been pulled into the conversation a couple of times around the bullpen. The rematch of Harley and Punchline has been a big topic since Punchline’s first appearance. Not everyone is a Harley fan and I get that but I think this is going to be one of those books that is going to be a must. Also it’s her 75th issue and that means a ton of variant covers that simply look amazing.

bounty hunters 4Star Wars Bounty Hunters #4> THE SINS THAT CAN’T BE ABSOLVED!
With a blaster aimed at this back, cyborg bounty hunter VALANCE closes in on NAKANO LASH, the mentor who abandoned him many years ago. But what is the secret that Lash has been hiding ever since that fateful, doomed mission – one that led her to betray her entire crew? Those answers may die with her if a vengeful BOBA FETT gets to her first. (S) Sacks, Ethan (A) Paolo Villanelli (CA) Lee Bermejo

Smurfs Take> Come on, it’s bounty hunters. One of the best parts of Star Wars and Boba Fett

mando bustStar Wars Legends in 3D Mandalorian ½ Scale Bust> A Diamond Select Toys release! The most hotly anticipated TV show of possibly ever is here, and DST is celebrating with a bust of its titular star, The Mandalorian! This half-scale resin bust measures approximately 10 inches tall and features detailed sculpting and paint applications. Limited to only 1,000 pieces, it comes packaged with a numbered certificate of authenticity. Designed by Joe Allard, sculpted by Rocco Tartamella.

Smurfs Take> There are a lot of different statues and figures hitting this week and I have to admit this one wasn’t the first one I had picked. But it was love at first sight and all the other items fell to the side when I saw this beauty. The detail and over all look is incredible and you couldn’t ask for a better looking bust in my opinion. I know statues and bust may not be everyone’s thing but I think this one would sway a lot of people.
