Your Quarter’s Worth Photo Review of

Amulet

by Kazu Kibuishi

Have you read Kazu Kibuishi’s Amulet series yet?

It’s an amazing eight graphic novel series targeting elementary and intermediate level readers. The ninth and final volume is due out sometime next year.

I could write a lengthy review about how much I love Amulet and young people’s fiction in general. I might even present a summary of the series, but in truth I won’t be able to do it justice. Instead we’ll try something different this week. . .

Below are images from the series. If you aren’t inspired to run to your local comic shop, library, or bookstore after seeing them then there’s something seriously wrong with you. Just saying.

Check out the pictures and enjoy reading the series afterwards.

You saw right. There were mechs, spaceships, goblins and dark elves.

Kazu Kibuishi’s Amulet series throws the kitchen sink at geeks and kids alike. And there’s so much more than this random stream of photos can possibly present.

Below is a photo of Kibuishi. Check out some of his other works as well the compilation graphic novels he’s edited called Flight.

Thanks for checking out this unique edition of Your Quarter’s Worth.

Stay warm, healthy, and safe out there.

And most certainly, stay geeky.
