Thor #9> THE RETURN OF DONALD BLAKE!
The “Prey” arc starts here! Once upon a time, a mortal man bore within him the spirit of a god. With a crack of his cane upon the ground, the Mighty Thor would appear! But it’s been years since the King of Asgard required his human ward. Where has the good doctor been all this time – and what does his reappearance mean for the God of Thunder? Donny Cates and Nic Klein journey into a mystery left unsolved since 1962! (S) Donny Cates (A) Nic Klein (CA) Olivier Coipel

Smurfs Take> So good I feel like I’m getting away with something. This is my favorite ride in the park and I have no intention of getting out of my seat…Join me.

Cross Over #1> The creative powerhouses behind the bestselling, critically acclaimed GOD COUNTRY, Thanos Wins, and REDNECK returns for the biggest launch of the year.
Imagine everything you thought was fantasy…was real. And now join us, in a world where reality is dead…and anything is possible. (S) Donny Cates (A) Dee Cunniffe (CA) Dave Stuart (A/CA) Geoff Shaw

Smurfs Take> Creative, colorful, and always original. These are the things I have come to expect from Image and it looks like this title won’t break that trend.

Tales From the Dark Multiverse Batman Hush #1> Following the smash success of last year’s Tales from the Dark Multiverse series, DC returns with five new tales that explore dark, twisted timelines spinning out some of DC’s most iconic stories. It begins with the story that kicked off the modern era for Batman…“Hush”! The landmark story introduced Bruce Wayne’s childhood friend Tommy Elliot as he tried to destroy the Dark Knight…but what if Tommy had ruined Bruce’s life when they were children? Tommy Elliot grew up to be the Dark Prince of Gotham City with the help of Talia al Ghul, Oswald Cobblepot, Harvey Dent, and Jason Todd! But vengeance is coming in the form of Batman the Silenced…who will tear Tommy’s life apart! Written by rising star Phillip Kennedy Johnson (The Last God) with jaw-dropping artwork from Dexter Soy (Batman and the Outsiders)! (S) Philip Kennedy Johnson (A) Dexter Soy

Smurfs Take> The Elseworlds at it’s best right here fans. I know they will never get another Batman that Laughed from this but it will be fun to see them try and the stories they come up with. I liked the idea of Hush and to see what could have been with him in the suit should be a fun.

Wolverine Black White Blood #1> TOP MARVEL TALENT SINK THEIR CLAWS INTO ALL-NEW

LOGAN. PATCH. WEAPON X. WOLVERINE. The mysterious mutant has gone by many names and lived many different lives.  Now, experience ALL-NEW untold tales of the best there is through the lens of an all-star cast of creators, in the unadulterated black and white format (with a healthy splash of blood red all over)!
Return to the Weapon X program with Gerry Duggan and Adam Kubert, and a new revelation from Wolverine’s shattered memories.  Join Matthew Rosenberg and Joshua Cassara on an explosive deep-cover spy mission from Wolverine’s association with NICK FURY.  Head into the wilds with writer/artist Declan Shalvey as Logan finds himself in the crossfire of a deadly trap!  This is the one you’ve been waiting for, bub. (S) Gerry Duggan, Declan Shalvey, Matthew Rosenberg (A) Declan Shalvey, Joshua Cassara (A/CA) Adam Kubert

Smurfs Take> One of the best Wolverine runs to date was with Kubert and to see him back at it warms my little geek heart. To be honest I like the little self-contained stories like this for Wolverine more than his regular title. I think it’s a much better way to explore the character and tell some solid stories without being tied to an ongoing run.

Neil Gaiman Norse Mythology #2> Loki is forced to atone for his latest prank by pitting two groups of dwarfs against each other in a contest that will either bring the gods greater treasures than they could dream of, or cost him his head . . . or both. (S) Neil Gaiman, P. Craig Russell (A) Mike Mignola, Jerry Ordway (A/CA) P. Craig Russell
