Hollywood does not want to release any big movies right now because of the Pandemic. Which is very unfortunate for the theaters that are trying to remain open and keep their employees employed. So, when they do release something that looks halfway decent, I am more than happy to go. “Let Him Go” is out now, and while it probably would never be one of my first choices, well it is today.
*The MEAT* The story is *Simple* and it does go pretty slow as it builds on intrigue and suspense. You get to know the characters very well along the way.
*The POTATOES* The acting led by Diane Lane and Kevin Costner was *Excellent* because you need good performances when the movie moves at such a slow pace. Lane and Costner know how to command the screen and keep the viewer interested that is for sure, plus their chemistry is perfect.
*The VERDICT* Normally I would not recommend “Let Him Go” for the big screen experience because I am sure you can get its full affect at home. But today, I was glad to see a movie at the local theater on the big screen that actually took me to another time and place for a few hours. And for that reason alone, I definitely *Enjoyed the Theater Experience* and wish more people would too.
Everyone, Please Stay Safe…
