Meat and Potatoes

Alright, we have a movie this week that promises *Action* in fact, critics are calling it a ‘Middle-aged John Wick” film. And I am ok with that. Plus, the lead character is played by Bob Odenkirk, best known as Saul as in “Better call Saul” and “Breaking Bad” series. So, I am sold, sign me up I want to see this movie.

*The MEAT* The story is *Simple and to the Point*. Which is perfect for a good action film. No need to get bogged down with unnecessary plot twists and turns. Just here is the problem, now figure a way out of it and I can respect that.

*The POTATOES* Bob Odenkirk is *Perfect* in this role. He is someone you would never guess can do the things he does so that adds to the movie’s fun. We also have appearances by Christopher Lloyd and Michael Ironside to put a big nostalgic smile on your face.

*The VERDICT* “Nobody” is a *Blast of Fun Fighting Action* movie for sure. Is it a middle-aged John Wick? Yes, I would say it definitely is. But I do want to point out that my wife enjoyed this film a lot and she is not a John Wick fan at all. So, I thought that was interesting and maybe it is all because of Bob Odenkirk and his lovable self. Anyways, I do highly recommend this film for the theaters if you can. Now, If I had one complaint, this movie had a few chances to tie into the “John Wick” universe, and they did not do it. I think they missed out on a huge opportunity to get Fans worked up about the possibilities for sure.

p.s. Next week, the Big Showdown we been waiting for…
