#NFL Week 16 Match-Ups!

Championship week!

This is it!!! Saturday will be a big day for some of you so let me wish everyone who has the chance at ultimate bragging rights…GOOD LUCK!

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – Jordon Howard is going against the NFL’s 22nd ranked rush defense. Should be big FF points for Howard.

vs  – Again, let’s just pick on the Browns all we can.

vs  – I think Thomas Rawls will finally have that big game he is more than due for.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – Earlier this year the Matt Ryan threw for over 500 yards against the Panther’s Defense. Reason enough for me to start all I can on the Falcon’s team.

vs  – Brady is going to go off this week against that weak Jets Defense. I like Malcom Mitchel to be Brady’s top choice for targets this week.

vs  – In New Orleans, Drew Brees is King. And I see a high scoring week for him and his WRs. Watch for Willie Snead to have a big game.

Sleepers:

QB – Matt Barkley – Bears

RB – Justin Forsett – Broncos

RB – Mark Ingram – Saints

WR – Eli Rodgers – Steelers

TE – Antonio Gates – Chargers

News and Notes

Brock Osweiler was benched early last week against the Jaguars for poor performance. Tom Savage came in and did a great job, so Savage will start this week and the foreseeable future. The big news here is that Savage will throw it to Hopkins. And this is great news for all the Hopkins owners out there who had their season ruined by Osweiler.

Bryce Petty will play this week against the Patriots. Jets are in trouble.

Falcons WR Julio Jones will play this week against the Panthers. He should have a big game again.

Remember, most of the games are on Saturday this weekend so get your line-ups in Friday night.

Las Vegas over/under has the Buccaneers/Saints game as the big points game of the week. It is in New Orleans, so they will score a lot on that indoor turf.

And Merry Christmas everyone!!!

#NFL Week 15 Match-Ups!

#Playoff week 2!!!

Saturdays I like to focus on this weekend’s match-ups and throw in a few Sleepers.

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – Those poor Browns again. You just can’t go wrong going against them.

vs  – It’s the Freeman/Coleman show again. This time it’s just going to be too easy going up against the 49ers subpar Defense.

vs  – David Johnson vs one of the worst defenses in the league.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – Kirk Cousins will tear the Panther’s young secondary up.

vs  – Ravens coming off a tuff loss and will be looking for revenge against a very suspect Defense of the Eagles.

vs  – Matt Ryan will score a lot of Fantasy points this week!

Sleepers:

QB – Sam Bradford

RB – Kenneth Farrow

RB – Kenneth Dixon

WR – J.J. Nelson

TE – A.J. Derby

News and Notes

The Jets RB Matt Forte will be a game time decision. Bilal Powell could be a sneaky play for you if Forte is down.

The Cardinals cut Michael Floyd after his latest DUI charge. The Patriots picked him up off waivers. I don’t think he will be able to play anytime soon, but you never know.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is expected to be back this week. I don’t think he will get a lot of carries but it is something to watch for next week.

Colts QB Andrew Luck is expected to play barring any set backs.

Las Vegas over/under has the Oakland/San Diego as the high scoring game of the weekend.

Good Luck!

#NFL Week 13 Match-ups!

Saturdays I like to focus on this weekend’s match-ups and throw in a few Sleepers.

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – 49ers allow an average of 171 rushing a game. Jordon Howard is your man.

vs  – LeSean McCoy has had a solid 3 weeks of FF points. Raiders have allowed an average of 19 points a week by opposing team’s RBs. Looks good for McCoy.

vs  – Redskins are 25th in the league against the run. David Johnson is a FF points machine. Great match-up here.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – Matt Ryan is on Fire! Look for him and Julio Jones to tear the Chiefs secondary up.

vs  – Saints passing Defense is allowing over 271 yards a game on average. That’s 27th in the league against the pass. Mathew Stafford is poised for a big one.

vs  – Don’t look now, but Aaron Rodgers is finally showing his FF worth. Let’s see if he can continue against an ailing Texan team right now.

Sleepers:

QB – Paxton Lynch

RB – James Starks

RB – Wendell Smallwood

WR – Marquess Wilson

TE – Vance McDonald

News and Notes

New England Patriots TE, Rob Gronkowski is hurt again, this time it’s a back injury that will sideline him for at least 6 to 8 weeks. I think it will be Malcolm Mitchell the WR who will get a lot of the targets Gronk was getting.

Trever Siemian has a foot injury that will sideline him this week against the Jaguars. That means Paxton Lynch has a juicy match-up against that Jaguar Defense. Keep an eye on this.

Jordon Reed is ruled out for the Redskins this weekend with a shoulder injury. This hurts a lot of FF teams, might want to pick up Vernon Davis for some insurance.

Las Vegas over/under has the Lions/Saints game at a whopping 54 points. This is going to be a good FF point scoring game, start them all if you can.

Good Luck!

Week 12 Match-ups!

Saturdays I like to focus on this weekend’s match-ups and throw in a few Sleepers.

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – David Johnson is the FF RB of the year so far and Atlanta’s rushing Defense is very suspect. This is a great match-up for Johnson.

vs  – Jay Ajayi is going against a 49ers rushing Defense that allows an average of 179 yards a game. WOW!!

vs  – DeMarco Murray is FF gold as it is, and against the Bear’s weak Defense, He should have huge numbers. A fantastic match-up.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – Big game for Russel Wilson and the gang.

vs  – Yes, I’m picking on the Browns again, but they almost always come through. Its Eli and Odell’s turn to explode.

vs  – Almost any team can throw against the Packers Defense. Carson Wentz should have good FF points.

Sleepers:

QB – Ryan Tannehill

RB – Dion Lewis

RB – Wendell Smallwood

WR – Tyler Lockett

TE – Will Tye

News and Notes

Bills WR Sammy Watkins returns this week. Give it a week before starting him, not sure how much he will be used yet.

Jeremy Maclin is out again this week with a groin injury. He has had a disappointing FF season this year and I wonder if he is even worth keeping on your roster. Yes, this is a repeat, lol

It is week 12 already, that means you have 2 games left before the FF playoffs. Make them count!

Las Vegas over/under has the Arizona/Atlanta and the Carolina/Oakland games as the high scoring games of the weekend. Start them if you got them.

Good Luck!

#NFL Week 11 Match-ups!

Saturdays I like to focus on this weekend’s match-ups and throw in a few Sleepers.

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – I’m sorry to pick on the Browns so much, but damn is their Defense weak and always makes the opposing team’s Offense look so great on paper.

vs  – Cincinnati has been allowing a lot of FF points against them on the ground, and unfortunately for them, the Bills have Matt Forte who is primed to have a big day.

vs  – Spencer Ware is back and will be carrying the RB load against the Buccaneer’s 25th ranked Defense in the NFL against the run.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – Tom Brady is going to make his big return to ‘the city by the bay” a memorable one.

vs  – Big day for Big Ben and Antonio Brown.

vs  – Marcus Mariota is quietly becoming one of the top FF QBs right now and the Colts don’t have a strong secondary to stop him. Don’t forget that his favorite target is TE Delanie Walker.

Sleepers:

QB – Joe Flacco

RB – Dion Lewis

RB – Thomas Rawls

WR – Jamison Crowder

TE – Ladarius Green

News and Notes

Rob Gronkowski is out this week with some sort of lung/chest injury. Martellus Bennett will have a good game.

Jeremy Maclin is out again this week with a groin injury. He has had a disappointing FF season this year and I wonder if he is even worth keeping on your roster.

I don’t know why, but I’m liking the match-up of Luck and Hilton vs the Titans Defense.

It’s that time to start looking ahead to the last 4 weeks of the season and the 3 FF playoff weeks. You are going to want to acquire the strong Offensive players that are matched up against the weaker Defenses. For example, during the FF playoff schedule ( weeks 14-16 ) Tampa Bay plays New Orleans TWICE! You are going to want Tampa Bay players, trust me.

Las Vegas over/under has Green Bay at Washington Redskins game as the highest scoring game of the week. Kirk Cousins should have a big day.

Good Luck!

Week 9 NFL Match-ups!

Saturdays I like to focus on this weekend’s match-ups and throw in a few Sleepers.

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – Spencer Ware is in concussion protocol. Which is too bad because he would have a huge game against the Jaguar’s Defense. Charcandrick West is the man!

vs  – Ezekiel Elliott all day! This will be the best match-up of the week and the one I am most looking forward to watching.

vs  – 49ers have the worst Defense against the rush in the NFL. Mark Ingram and Tim Hightower are looking good in this match-up and should be able to rack up some decent yardage.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – Aaron Rodgers will tear it up. But to which WR? Hard to tell.

vs  – Looks like this could be Dez Bryant’s break-out game? Finally, for anyone who has been holding on to him.

vs  – Philip Rivers could possibly throw for over 400 yards against this Defense.

Sleepers:

QB – Nick Foles

RB – Charcandrick West

RB – Derrick Henry

WR – Breshad Perriman

TE – Lance Kendricks

News and Notes

Jamaal Charles was put on IR for the rest of the season and Alex Smith has been ruled out of this week’s game for the Chiefs.

LeSean McCoy says he will play this week. His hamstring injury has limited him the last two weeks so keep an eye on this one, for he might be a last second scratch.

Spencer Ware is OUT this week.

Titans TE Delanie Walker sat out practice on Friday and will be a game time decision on Sunday. Not a good situation at all, keep an eye on this.

Las Vegas over/under has the Indianapolis at Green Bay game as the high scoring game of the week. A lot of FF points to be piled up in this one.

Good Luck!

Week 8 Match-ups!

Saturdays I like to focus on this weekend’s match-ups and throw in a few Sleepers.

Top 3 Rushing Match-ups:

vs  – Saints lead the league in rushing TDs allowed. Christine Michael will be money.

vs  – Matt Forte is primed to go off on the Cleveland Defense that let Cincinnati run for over 271 yards on them last week.

vs  – Spencer Ware is filling in nicely for Jamaal Charles who is just not looking right yet.

Top 3 Passing Match-ups:

vs  – Get the picture? Start all Seattle players you can against that lousy Saint Defense.

vs  – Carolina’s pass defense has been getting torched pretty bad lately. Look for Palmer to get big numbers again.

vs  – With the Chiefs running all over the Colts, I see Luck having to throw a lot too catch-up and TY Hilton benefitting from that the most.

Sleepers:

QB – Brock Osweiler

RB – Rob Kelly

WR – J.J. Nelson

WR – Chris Hogan

TE – Charles Clay

News and Notes

CJ Anderson is out for the foreseeable future. Broncos have put him on IR, but he can come back after 8 weeks. Devontae Booker is going to be the main RB in Denver for now. Hopefully you had him on your team just in case something happened to Anderson.

Speaking of which, if you are lucky enough to have one of the top RBs right now, you might want to make sure you have his back-up. David Johnson, you need to get Andre Ellington. Matt Forte, Mike Gillislee is your man. DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry is a must have. Ezekiel Elliott, get Alfred Morris. Grab them now before someone else does.

Josh McCown fully participated in practice all week. Look for his return, and along with him I bet Gary Barnidge, TE to finally get going with some points.

Geno Smith lasted one start before getting hurt. Fitzpatrick is back, but he is not happy. This could be a very toxic situation to keep an eye on because it could hurt your FF players. But the Jets are playing the Browns this week, so maybe winning big can fix all.

Las Vegas over/under has the Green Bay at Atlanta game as the high scoring game of the week. Start all players you can from these teams because it should be a barn burner.

Good Luck!
